The Wenatchee Valley Medical Group and the Community Foundation of North Central Washington are putting their money where their mouth is.
The medical group has created the Community Partnership Fund, which aims to award up to $500,000 in grants each year to groups focused on health and wellness, education, or arts and culture in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan counties in central Washington, reports the Spokesman-Review.
"As an organization with a mission to be local care by and for our community, investing in this special place through these grants is just one of the ways we can help contribute to all those groups that make this region so great," says Andrew Jones, CEO of Health, which is managing the fund.
The deadline to apply is July 31.
